Lesson from Mr. Clean

Mr. Clean seems like such a great hero and role model. He is strong. He is friendly and helps others. He is also clean! Do not underestimate the significance of cleanliness—just ask my secretary how important cleanliness is to the pastor!

Our church school celebrated Spirit Week recently. Having a Mohawk was fun, but it needed to come off. When my scalping day arrived, students cheered. As a result, I can now identify even more with Mr. Clean. But our daycare director was the one who actually helped me find an object lesson from this experience. As a Christian, Jesus should be my hero and role model, right? He is the one I want to identify with and be like. When Jesus is in your life, the difference will be so very obvious. You will look different. You will feel different. The change He brings is even more obvious than having a shaved head. Jesus is the only One who can truly make us clean on the inside from sin!
